Maybe it has something to do with that new AOL high speed technology those
Chopper guys were fooling with...

I don't know if it's connected, but I've seen some miscoded HTML coming out
of AOL today. Two messages from two different people on AOL had " "
appear in the visible text because in the html source it had come across as
" ".

Subject: Outlook messages blank -- but data is there!

Starting today my folks are having problems reading mail from America
Online. Ordinarily that would be a good thing, but the big boss uses AOL
mail at home and he is home today!

Here's the strange thing:

Exchange 2000 SP3
Clients: Outlook 2000, Outlook 2002 and also OWA

Email comes into my mailbox from the big boss, [EMAIL PROTECTED]
I double click, message opens, title is there but no message body.

BUT- in outlook you can "auto preview", so you can see the first
lines
of the messages. In the "auto preview" mode the data is there!

I tried reading it using Outlook Web access, same thing. No message body.
Subject is there, receipients are there. Time date was there.
Nothing is message body.

I even tried to "highlight" the message body in case some font was freaking
out and trying to be white print on white background, still no message body.

No strange errors in the exchange server event app or event system logs.

Any ideas?
