We publish our OWA URL to our users as mail.domain.com. On the root of the default web site, we have the home directory set to redirect to /Exchange, using the option "A directory below URL entered". Works fine.
We now want to force all traffic to OWA over HTTPS. I've changed the "Redirect To" URL to read https://mail.domain.com/exchange. Technically, this works, but with 2 problems. After I authenticate, I get a warning stating that "the page contains both secure and nonsecure items, do I want to continue?". After I click Yes, I have to authenticate again (but I do get in using a secure connection). The bottom line is that I need to take connection requests to http://mail.domain.com and redirect them to https://mail.domain.com/exchange. Whats the best way to go about doing this? I should note that manually connecting to https://mail.domain.com/exchange works fine. Also, this is Exchange 2003 on Windows 2003.
