Yeah, I've done all those steps. After rereading the documentation, there was a single mention of another server, so I decided to go with the idea that the upgrade option in the wizard referred to an upgrade of ex2000->ex2003 on the network, and not on the same server. After following the directions, it appears that the new server is up and running. Now I have to start transferring settings and mailboxes. I'm hoping there is an easy way to migrate settings...
