With 2 NIC's in a server. Would you guys prefer Transmit Load Balancing
or Switch assisted Load Balancing?

I prefer a pair of NICs in all my servers as well. But I have had to
disable one of the two in two instances on two servers: My Win2K Server
DNS server had issues and my Win2K file server, because Macintosh
services would not load otherwise. Are these problems taken care of in
Server 2003? Heck, is there a workaround for Win2K server since I don't
think this non-profit organization is ready for Server 2003 just yet?

I like teaming. It's even better when you can connect each through a
separate switch.

Subject: OT: HP NIC Question

All,

I'm installing an HP DL380 server for an Exchange server. This server
has dual NIC's. In the HP configuration tool, It gives you an option
to team the NIC's. Would you recommend that or just use a single NIC?
This server is going to be a main mailbox server.

Thanks for your help.
