Subject: RE: Mirroring Mail Store Volume

Hi Steve,

Regarding Ghost, if my original Volume was 25 gigs, and I wanted to bring
that back to a 50 gig Volume, would I be able to do something like that? Or
does the restored volume have to be the exact spec as the original?

I thought I heard, you don't necessarily have to have the identical size
drive when performing a Ghost Restore. Because another goal I have too, is
to make that volume larger, so if I could do that (and somehow get Ghost to
work after your suggestion), then I would be in pretty good shape.

Thanks for any additional information,

Mike

Ed and Tony have the best solution, but for your info, if you dig into the
options in Ghost you can tell it to ignore bad sectors and continue
ghosting.
