OL2000: Changing the Time Zone Without Changing Appointment Times

All of the clients that are complaining are using Windows 2000 with
Outlook 2000. My machine is WinXP with Office XP. The strange thing is
that if I create a meeting for 8:30am and then invite myself, the meeting
that actually gets scheduled on the company calendar is set to start at
7:30am!
The same appears on my personal calendar when I accept the invitation!

And yes, my computer is compensating for DST.

Thanks.

Eric

Are these on Windows XP clients? Check the clients time zone and daylight
savings time checkbox. Windows XP didn't seem to want to check daylight
savings time on install.

Any idea what to search for. I've tried every permutation of "Wrong
calendar start times" "Wrong meeting start time" and nothing hits...

Thanks

There's a patch out that fixes this problem. I'd send you the link, but
I'm
out of the office and I don't have it stored on this computer.

Oops: Forgot to mention that the Exchange server is EX5.5 SP4 and all
clients are Outlook 2000 (SP-3) or Outlook XP.

Has anyone seen this behavior? I have users creating meeting appointments
in our company calendar (in public folders) and they create the event to
start at 9:30am, but when I view the calendar from my computer, the event
starts at 8:30am.

I have already check to see that every computer in the office has updated
their time due to the daylight savings time adjustment, as well as checked
to see that the server time is correct.

After a few hours of googling and searching Microsoft, it would appear
that
I'm the only person having this problem. Anyone else seen this before?

Thanks in advance.
