Hello, 307917 is another KB article on removing the first Exchange 2000 Server from a site.
-Missing from the above article is replicating the Organizational Forms Public Folder. (at least in testing to me it seemed like we would need that folder replicated too, or re-import all of the forms). It is listed in the FAQ Ed mentions though. -Also, same as above, specifying the Server that generates the Offline address book (ESM / Recipients / Offline Address Lists). Good Luck. Feel free to post any follow-ups ... for those of us headed down that road... See KB article 152959 for a pretty exhaustive list. Also, http://www.swinc.com/resource/e2kfaq_appxa.htm is a useful guide. I then upgraded the original server to 2003. Now I want to decommission the original server and completely remove it from the organization. Is there a recommended way to remove a server cleanly ? Thanks, Tony. _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/cgi-bin/lyris.pl?enter=exchange&text_mode=& lang =english To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
