Tell him he won't have this issue when he switches over to your infrastructure. Not familiar with IPlanet. Wonder what he is using as a client? He must have this same issue with other replies to other Exchange email systems.

THEY CAN see the Reply text when using AutoPreview. -OWA does not show the reply text. -Highlighting, changing fonts, Forwarding and trying to change the format, ... do not show the reply text. Downloading the message with OE IMAP DOES show the reply text. Might have missed it, but I've searched this list, Google groups and MSKB and have come up with a couple other posts complaining of the exact same thing, but no solutions.
