I would agree, but sometimes such things aren't architected. They evolve,
or they acquire.

8. Fire the architect and rearchitect Exchange to use a single organization.

Avaliable options I'm aware of:

1. HP LDAP Directory Synchronization Utility (LDSU)

2. Microsoft Identity and Integration Server

3. MIIS GAL Sync tool (limited but free)

4. SimpleSync

5. MS Mail Dirsync (unsupported by Microsoft, but is supposed to work)

6. Active Directory Connector (in interorganizational mode)

7. Your own code

Subject: GAL Synchronisation

Hi

I have 4 Exchange 5.5 servers and 1 Exchnage 2000 server that all work
idenpendantly, regional across 5 sites all connected via a WAN all servers
send outbound SMTP via regional ADSL and leased lines.

My problem I've got is that i have to update the GALs indepantlty when users
start and leave the company. This can be a nightmare considering we have up
to 600 employees. Does anyone know of a way of synchronising the GALs across
5.5 & 2000? Am I missing at trick?

Thanks in advance.

Confused from London.
