We have some secondary domains that are routed to a Solaris sendmail server.
>From sendmail we use the virtusertable to forward the mail to an address on
the exchange server. For some reason we cannot enter a virtuser entry
changing the secondary domain address to our main domain. The exchange
server seems to accept the mail but it never gets to the destination
mailbox. Here is an example....

[EMAIL PROTECTED] (routed to ..)
[EMAIL PROTECTED]

That does not work...... it will work however if we put in
[EMAIL PROTECTED] and add an smtp address of
[EMAIL PROTECTED] to that mail account in exchange.

Not sure why exchange won't route the mail to the default smtp address of
[EMAIL PROTECTED]

This is on an exchange 5.5 SP3 running on win2k server.

Thanks,

Chad
