Has anyone else been having problems with SMTP and PIX firewalls lately (or ever)????
First of all: Exchange v5.5 SP4 running on Windows 2000 SP4, PIX firwall v6.3.3(133) Inbound mail messages are taking A LONG, LONG TIME to get to the mail server. Telnetting out on the internet to TCP port 25 on my mail server yeilds a valid SMTP banner and HELO commands get their appropriate responses.... Most of the folks on the outside of the world who have problems sending me mail always get "Connection timed out" NDRs. I've been on the phone with Cisco for almost 3 hours and mail still isn't flowing right. Any ideas?
