Using eseutil to repair will look for corruption and throw it away, you can never predict what data you will loose and therefore you might not even know until the CEO comes knocking on your door because the spreadsheet he was keeping in his inbox is missing.
You should restore from backup instead, you may loose some hours of data but at least you will be able to inform users what that have lost.
