Ai, ai, ai, I feel so damn stupid now! I've been chasing my tail going
for all the hard options, every fix under the sun. No wonder it looked
as if it was working fine in every aspect apart from the fact that the
mailbox store didn't have any of the "working offline address lists"
assigned to them.

Doh, no wonder outlook couldn't download any of them, when none were
listed!

Anyway, to fix my problem, all I had to do was choose an offline address
book for the mail stores. This must have got deleted when I reinstalled
the first exchange server in my enterprise last weekend.
