A legitimate external message from an Outlook client was sent to 600 Exchange 2k users with mailboxes on 3 servers in the same domain.
My domain admin account received the message but no-one else did. All the Exchange logs (sample below) indicate normal delivery, the only difference being if the message destination mailbox was on the same server. No NDRs were generated. No event errors at the time. No AV log errors. All queues are empty. All servers running Ex2k Sp4 with latest roll-up patches and Sophos MailMonitor AV. All 3 servers receive incoming mail. The messsage was sent in batches of 20-60 users at a time. The only obvious odd thing about the message is a very long message-id, 364 chars, beginning with '!~!UENERkV' Any ideas? Paul Christopher Log snippet, 1st mail received, 2nd not received.
