Someone sent a ton of spam to bad addresses on your domain. That generated a
ton of NDRs. Now all those NDRs are trying to go back to their papa.

Subject: IMS Outbound Queue

We are running Exchange 5.5, on occasion (like just now) our outbound queue
fills with spam. We just had 5500 spam emails (<>) no originator in the
queue. AS a result, real email was not going out (or was VERY delayed),. Is
there any way we can be alerted of this instead of having to manually check?
Any advice to prevent it ot mitigate it. TIA

Also, why would there be spam in the outbound queue?
