Thanks for your response Ed. Currently the 5.5 servers in both sites replicate their directories to each other via SMTP email messages and users in both sites have a unified GAL. This is what I mean by SMTP dir rep and I would like to keep using this method once the server in Site A is upgraded to Exch 2003 and also when the Site B server is upgraded later this year.
