To clarify, Sakti is correct that you can do this, and probably easily
without a separate organization, however simply putting them in a separate
OU (which is a good idea regardless) will not help you much in separating
permissions; only their membership in a security group will allow you to
define their access rights.

Don't bother trying to create another organisation, I think you can achieve
all that you want with the existing infrastructure.

Firsty create an OU to hold these volunteers. This will help to restrict
their access to whatever ...

You might want to create a separate storage group for them too ... that way
you can apply particular policies for them such as mailbox/message size
limits.

You can create address lists that are visible only to non-volunteers, and
basically disallow the volunteers access to any address list.

You can also deny them rights to view public folders.

And, you can hide them from appearing in your GAL.

Subject: 2nd org

Hi,

I'm working for a non-profit org and Exchange 2003 is working fine.

I have been asked if I can give volunteers their own email addresses
[EMAIL PROTECTED] and access to owa.
We do not want them to see any public folder, address books or be visibly
part of our internal organisation.

Is this possible on the same server ?
Can I create a second organisation ?

thanks
