Some of your users may need to refresh their Outlook profile after you
remove this server. Have them edit their profiles, remove the last letter
from their names, click Check Names, then finish. The delays may go away.

After moving the default PF to the local site. I'm still experiencing the
delay problem. Seems like I'm stuck with the same scenario as before.

Do I have to remove the old server replica intance from any of the system
folders by chance?

What do you have in the properties of the mailbox store where your mailbox
resides? Which PF store is it told to use?

Subject: Public Folders Delay

All,

I'm having an isuse with my public folders. What i'm doing is moving all
the folders from an old server to a new one. This is all Exchange 2000
Native Mode. I've setup a replica with the new server so the new server has
a copy of each public folder on it. Now, when I turn off the old server It
takes like 5 mins before you can expand the public folder tree. I know the
behavior shouldn't be this way.

Did I miss a step in moving the folders? Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you,

John Bowles
