I'd focus on fixing that, then. At first glance that doesn't seem related to F/B. Wouldn't multiple copies of the same meeting essentially "overbook" people for that period of time, and consequently have the person look really really really busy so to speak when looking up their F/B info? If I have three meetings (or three copies of the same meeting) scheduled today from 1-2PM, it just looks like 1-2PM is unavailable on my F/B. It doesn't sound like F/B is broken.
Can you clarify the circumstances under which the users send multiple meeting notices? Is it all users? Does it happen when the meeting is first proposed? If a meeting is changed?
