That command line switch is only valid for Outlook 2003[1]. Microsoft
has a tool called cleansweep which can be obtained from PSS w/o charge
and can be used to do a number of cool things including, I believe,
remove rules.

Conversation: Rules issue
Subject: RE: Rules issue

hmm well I type "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\Outlook.exe"
/cleanrules and it gives me an error that the command line is invalid.
I
open a command prompt cd to c:\program files\microsoft\office10> and
type
outlook.exe /cleanrules and same thing. So if I am doing something
wrong
or typing it wrong please inform. I used
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;826964 as a
visual
on exactly what to type. Thanks in advance.
