Forgot to add, just like in your case, the bug affects messages with attachments, but not all of them. I had to submit some of my messages that got stuck to Trend support so that they would figure it out and write a fix (there were certain messages with certain attachments that got stuck 100% of the time)

The only way I found to push out the stuck messages is to open them with notepad as text files, fix up the first few lines (they are crap - delete them), make sure that you have normal looking headers, From:, To:, Subject. Then save those files and move them to the Pickup directory - they will get re-processed and sent.
