I think I've found a solution! It isn't thoroughly tested yet, but so far the early results are promising. Go to Microsoft's Downloads and search for Microsoft UAM for X (they also have one for OS9).
Install it and login via APPLE+K and the Server IP Address. So far, it is working for me.
