About 3 weeks ago we started experiencing a rash of 1160 events on our
Exchange 2K server (W2k/SP4 E2K SP3 and both rollups).

***Begin Error***

***End Error***

Clicking the link takes us to some entries about drive space which isn't
the issue in this case, but the "Related Articles" lists one that does
seem to match us exactly KB838233

Rebooting the server will resolve it, but it always comes back. They
mention a hotfix that I have to call PSS to get (haven't yet obviously).
This error causes really weird Outlook issues in that outlook today goes
nuts and O2K users who have set Outlook Today as there start point
receive Program errors that refuse to let Outlook open. Delete Recovery
goes nuts etc.

I have no experience calling PSS yet (fortunately I've worked with
exchange since 5.5 came out and haven't had a need before). Any
suggestions? When there is a known issue/hotfix do they still charge
for the call?

We do run Trend ScanMail for Exchange if that is related and have had
virtual memory fragmentation issues in the past. 2GB RAM seems to be
both too much and not enough! I used the ADSI hack to adjust the
settings and that problem seems to be gone.

Thanks for any info!
