I have been asked to try and search thru an old users mailbox to look
for some customer data that may be there.
I have two available priv.edb's on backup tapes. My question is:
Is it possible for me to access/ view and/ or search thru this without
mounting the database?

I have searched for tools and have come across powertools by ontrack -
has anyone any experience of this?

I guess I can restore the database onto an offline server - it's been a
while since I've had to do that. Is it possible to do this within a
virtual machine or am I better off installing onto an offline database
and trying that way (bit of a long process tho..)

Any pointers will be gratefully received.
Thanks
Rob
