Yep, its really that simple. I use it all the time. Very worth the money spent. You just restore the the DB, open it up and copy email out of any mailbox you like. I have two available priv.edb's on backup tapes. My question is: Is it possible for me to access/ view and/ or search thru this without mounting the database? I have searched for tools and have come across powertools by ontrack - has anyone any experience of this? I guess I can restore the database onto an offline server - it's been a while since I've had to do that. Is it possible to do this within a virtual machine or am I better off installing onto an offline database and trying that way (bit of a long process tho..) Any pointers will be gratefully received.
