Hello all,

I am in need of assistance as I am at wits end (not that that took long).

Here is the background info:

3-Ex5.5 servers in a NT4 Domain (remote Canadian subsidy) migrated
to an AD domain within an existing Forest (AD mixed-mode, yeah I know not my
idea) with an existing E2K ORG. Accounts where migrated using ADMT. Mail was
migrating using EXmerge from 3 Ex5.5 to 1 central E2K server in its
own site within ORG. All 3 Ex5.5 servers are in their own sites within same
mixed-mode ORG. Old Ex5.5 accounts where stripped of SMTP addresses
and hidden from the GAL.

Apparently, there where contacts created for external POP3 users that
generate NDR's when email sent from one site to the other. If the email is
sent from within the site that the contact is homed the all works well. Here
is the NDR I am receiving:

A configuration error in the e-mail system caused
the message to bounce between two servers or to be forwarded between two
recipients. Contact your administrator. The MTS-ID of the original message
is:c=US;a= ;p=PQ Corporation;l=PQMAIL2-040722120612Z-294864
            MSEXCH:MSExchangeMTA:PQCORP:PQMAIL2

Can't figure out what exactly is causing all of this. I used the Message
Tracking Center to determine where the mail is getting looped and apparently
the email is leaving my E2K BE over X.400 to my Ex5.5 IMC and then being
sent immediately back to the E2K BE server.

Please help.
