Groupshield has a long and ugly history with exchange. Some of it has
to do with the fact that it wasn't easy to make an AV product for
earlier versions of exchange, and, in my opinion, some of it has to do
with bad design choices McAfee made when making groupshield. I've
used 4.x and 5.x on exchange 5.5 and 2000, and I'm not terribly
surprised that people have problems with 6.x now. I've had experience
with groupshield, trendmicro's scanmail, sybari's antigen, and
symantec's mail security, and I've had the best experience with
antigen.
