The most important is to have the same Exchange organization name and the same administrative group name. Server name doesn't have to be the same. But the file paths of the information stores that you are restoring have to be the same. Also make sure that the display names of the information stores are the same.

I am trying to find the best practices for testing our tape restore to ensure that they are fully successful restores. My thought was that we build a test server in a test environment with the same domain name and same server name and run a restore from there. Does any one have best practices for testing restores? Thanks in advance for all of your help. Thanks, Brian _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/cgi-bin/lyris.pl?enter=exchange&text_mode=&lang =english To unsubscribe send a blank email to %%email.unsub%% Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
