The bridgehead server of my site is transfering all internal mail bound for the internet across it's IMC connector. Message Delivery is configure to forward all e-mail to the IP adress of an SMTP host in my DMZ.
>From time to time, some e-mail will stay in the Outbound queue and never get delivered to the DMZ server until the timing expired and are bounce back to the sender. I have search the Microsoft Knowledge database but nothing so far... The detail status of each email in the queue show a Host Unreachable error. In any case, since all e-mail are suppose to be forward to the DMZ server, this kind of error should not show up. Exchange is acting as if it is trying to deliver the e-mail itself instead of transfering them to the external server. Any idea why??? Other E-mail still flow without problem.
