If the messages can't be resolved (ie spam) then you will typically not see
the messages deliver.  It will build up in queue until it times out or you
delete it from the queue.

I have the timeout on most of our servers set to be 2-6 hours max.

The bridgehead server of my site is transfering all internal mail bound for
the internet across it's IMC connector. Message Delivery is configure to
forward all e-mail to the IP adress of an SMTP host in my DMZ.

delivered to the DMZ server until the timing expired and are bounce back to
the sender.  I have search the Microsoft Knowledge database but nothing so
far...

The detail status of each email in the queue show a Host Unreachable error.
In any case, since all e-mail are suppose to be forward to the DMZ server,
this kind of error should not show up. Exchange is acting as if it is trying
to deliver the e-mail itself instead of transfering them to the external
server.  Any idea why???  Other E-mail still flow without problem.
