The Remote Desktops MMC Snap-in has been fixed in XP SP2... At least for me. I used to have those problems too, but they are gone now...

Terminal Services is also OK for a while, but then I get the disappearing cursor problem after a few minutes, and I have to basically do the same thing - shut down Terminal Services and start it up again, *sigh*. I guess I just need to suck it up and deal, until somebody fixes either problem!
