The place I contracted out to about 6 months ago is using Trend for exchange AV and they're having a problem right now with trend causing exchange 2000 to queue up SMTP mail. Supposedly trend is aware of the problem and is working on it, at least that's what they tell me. I've used 3 different versions of Antigen and have loved them all, it's a very well put together product. When I used Antigen I did not use it in AVAPI mode, I used the ESE mode, never had any problems. I suspect some of the problems that other products have may be related more to AVAPI than the product itself.
