You need AD to be in native mode to allow groups to be used as security objects on folders as distribution lists were used in Exchange 5.5. Other than that, Exchange's and AD's native or mixed mode have no relationship whatsoever to each other.

We are planning on changing our AD to native mode, but we have exchange 5.5 (no exchange 2000 yet). I read that there are issues with exchange 5.5 in native mode, btu I am not sure if tese are issues with exchange 2000 native mode. _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/cgi-bin/lyris.pl?enter=exchange&text_mode=&lang =english To unsubscribe send a blank email to %%email.unsub%% Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
