Hello,

Thanks for the information. But this is not my Case. I have only one PDC in
the Windows NT Domain AG07. I think it is a problem with the System
Attendant Service. I remove Exchange from this Server, but the service
remain and cause Problem hat reboot. I will try to delete the service and
start the setup again. I hope I will find the first error I received at the
first setup.

Thanks for any Information that can help me to resolve this problem.

Best regards
Philippe RITTER

That's scary. The last time I saw this problem it was because the customer
had somehow managed to have two PDCs in the Windows NT domain in which its
Exchange 5.5 servers resided. The problems caused by this were nasty and
the fixes far too complicated to go into here.

Subject: Error : This account must be valid before continuing.

Hello,

I get this error when I try to install a new Exchange 2003 on a Exchange 5.5
Site. Here is my configuration.

Initialy, I had 10 sites in Exchange 5.5. I installed 1 first Ex2k3 Server
in site SITC. I haded 2 new Exchange 2003 server AG09 and AG10 sites. Now I
need to had an Exchange 2003 server in Site AG07.

During my first setup, I got an error and Collaborative Objects could not be
installed. I tried then to install it again, but now I get this error. I
removed Exchange, and tried again now, again the same error.

I'm in the Service Account box, and User name and Domain are greyed out, but
the field User name is correctly set. I get the error when I click Next.

All me Exchange 2003 server are now in SP1, but the CD I use is the normal
Exchange 2003.

Thanks for any help.

Regards
Philippe RITTER
