Out of curiosity, what version of Windows is running on the clients that now aren't seeing new messages?

I have been diagnosing this problem more and looked at one user who was not getting notifications. After uninstalling MS04-040 (which had been installed last night by the automatic updater via SUS), he got immediate notifications back. I then manually installed MS04-040 from a downloaded patch and after rebooting (required) he still gets immediate notifications. I will try this on some more users who are having this problem tomorrow.
