Subject: RE: Wanadoo users have problems with OWA 5.5

Are they having trouble accessing anything else on your site (do you have a
web server on site for instance)? Do you know if you or your ISP are running
extensive access control lists on your border routers? We had an issue
recently due to our ACLs blocking traffic sourced from address blocks on the
"bogon" list. One of the net blocks on the list has recently been put in
service and parts of it were issued to Verizon DSL. We had a lot of folks on
Verizon DSL who couldn't access OWA or our website while folks using other
providers could. We had a few of them find their IP address
(www.myipaddress.com) and report back to us and we compared them against our
ACLs. I think the bogon addresses are starting to be reissued as demand
grows so the bogon lists needs to change more frequently.

Subject: Wanadoo users have problems with OWA 5.5

We have exchange 5.5 sp4 and a lot of users who use wanadoo as their
broadband provider have trouble accessing OWA. Not all of them, and of the
ones who do not always.

Symptom - they cannot even access the first page, quote from one of them
"When I try and connect it says 'unknown zone' in bottom right hand corner
of page and then the 'this page cannnot be displayed' box comes up." This is
at times when the service is up and being accessed by other users.

Wanadoo are not being helpful, has anyone else encountered this? Should
they just change provider???
