Larry,

I am only using a single server, so our configurations might be too
different. However, if you would send me a copy of your metabase.xml
from the front end server, I should be able to figure out where our
security setup differs.

I have a feeling the problem came from a install/removal of Sharepoint,
which must have made some security changes that OMA doesn't like.

Thanks for your help!

Erick

Erick,

If I can help, I'd be glad to. But, I'm using a Front End server in our
DMZ for both OWA and OMA. I opened both on that server, following the
directions in Module 10 of the 2400B course, which surprisingly worked
just fine. I'm sure there are documents on MS site that say the same
thing, but the book's sitting on my desk, so what the hay.

It was surprisingly simple to get OMA to work with Smartphones in this
scenario, but I don't know if you're using a FE-BE topology with your FE
in a DMZ and your BE's on the internal network, as I am. If you are, ask
away - I can probably find it for you.
