Panic.  What I saw was an AntiSpyware situation that was out of control,
with defensive tools that were immature and not up to the job, and thinking
that there was *nothing* to protect the most important server.  But I was
cautious--I only put AntiSpyware on a lab server.  And I'm heeding your
collective advice.  I'll take it off.

Yep. That would certainly be a reason not to do it. I was just curious
what reason there would be to install it in the first place. I try not
to install any more software than is absolutely necessary on my mission
critical servers, so I was curious what might elevate anti-spyware to
that level of criticality.
