Umm... you mean in the "addressing" tab? I already tried that....Hmm... I
vaguely remember a Microsoft KB article on something similar... have to go
see if I can dig that up again.

I would remove the Outlook Address Book Service, Restart Outlook and
then add it again.

Then right click Contacts, Properties, Outlook Address Book Tab and put
the tick in

Sounds like the association has gone

Subject: OL97 wierdness

I'm having some issues with Outlook 97 and Exchange 5.5. I have a couple
users who have lots of email addresses, phone numbers, etc in their
"contacts" folder. However, if you log on as that user (Windows NT4.0)
and try to create a new blank email, type in the name of one of their
contacts, Outlook won't find that contact. If you manually open the
address book and select the "contacts" folder to look in, it will appear
blank.

However, if you open the "contacts" folder on the Outlook toolbar, you
can select a contact and select "create email to this contact." This is
all fine and dandy, but if you want to send a message to multiple people
not on the GAL, you're out of luck...

Any ideas what the problem is?
        Thanks
        John
