Additionally the support of FTP is not fun, nor cost effective. You often get to support it at both ends, teach the sender how to use FTP to deliver files to your users......retrain people every few months who only use FTP once in awhile....computers are for the exchange of information and email is a great way for users to do that. The system should support that. And management should understand and support the associated costs. If they want email they need to understand large disks, expensive servers and large backup systems and perhaps fancy archival systems are the price of admission. _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/read/?forum=exchange To subscribe: http://e-newsletters.internet.com/discussionlists.html/ To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
