30GB over WAN sounds like an adventure. Depends on what kind of WAN you have.

We're using Exchange 5.5 and will probably be using Windows 2000 Server as the controller for the raid array. I don't know if we'll be using Gigabit or 100 mbit, but we'll be backing up over the lan for one mail server (same room, just a different physical server) and over the WAN for our other server. Assuming a DB size of about 30 gigs, would it be possible to do that?
