We currently run a windows 2000 active directory environment with Exchange 2000. We are in the process of taking over a company that runs 2000 servers but exchange 5.5. We want them to be part of our current active directory domain and to just create an ou for their organization off of the root. Will the fact that they run exchagne 5.5. servers cause any problems in this scenario? We are not trying to integrate the exchange enviroment, we are looking for the ability to share files and other resources. Do I need to somehow turn off the exchange 2000 integration?
