We don't permit it. It happens, but we don't authorize it, and if anything happens to screw up the system the employee can get written up or worse. Typically they get a good chewing out by the tech. If it continues, we refer it to their supervisor. The worst thing that happens around here is that people install all these "free" apps (especially the crap the "cutens-up" their email) which installs spyware/ad-ware along with.
