Hi, I just recently tried this - and yes - replace it with your domain name.
I also tried the GFI for disclaimers - turns out it uses event sinks as well. When I tried event sinks via script or GFI I got caught with our smtp queue being blocked, probably because I was trying do it all on the one exchange server we have. Some other disclaimer products (eg: mxclaim - see pdf at www.mxclaim.com/kb/article_5.html ) have specific warnings about this configuration and using event sinks - may be worth looking them up, although you may not be in the same configuration and so won't be an issue. I found other warnings via google as well. I wish it were still as simple as with Exchange 5.5 to add disclaimers, but we have decided to ditch disclaimers as the added complexity of having another upstream virtual smtp server just to have some disclaimers is not worth the effort as we are just a small setup here. (No points for Microsoft over this effort). Regards, Bryce Stenberg. _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/read/?forum=exchange To subscribe: http://e-newsletters.internet.com/discussionlists.html/ To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
