Hi Ed, What I mean with duplicate accounts is that because Domino has its own directory which is seperate to the NT4 directory, joining them together with the Domino connector and replication between AD > Domino and Domino > AD, is that we get a whole new series of AD accounts that correspond to all the directory items in Domino.
We setup a DominoUsers OU in AD to keep them seperate from the main Users OU with all the current user accounts, however even if we had put everything together, the accounts do not match up between Domino and AD and new accounts are created. We tested ways of modifying the AD accounts to avoid this (eg. same display names and firs/last names, etc..) but nothing helped. When using the migration wizard, the migrated mailbox HAS to be associated with the user that came from Domino, since the Notes proxy address matches, which means that the wizard will NOT allow any changes. What we are looking at doing is just using the migration wizard to create a PST from the Domino accounts, deleting the user in domino and its AD replicated counterpart, create a new exchange mailbox for the users proper AD account and importing the PST. This seems to be the only logical (albiet painfully slow) method of getting the job done. Unless there is something else anyone can think of which would be a big time saver. Cheers. _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/read/?forum=exchange To subscribe: http://e-newsletters.internet.com/discussionlists.html/ To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
