It's a full featured, application level firewall as well. Some of the advantages it has over Squid are secure publishing of OWA (both up front authentication and web filtering). SMTP filtering, should you choose to use it. And other non-exchange related filters. ISA will also allow for integration into AD and authentication on AD accounts / groups. (Last time I looked, Squid didn't offer that functionality, unless they've got LDAP support in Squid now?)
