Any. I am almost leaning towards DNS issues in my mind. One of the DC's I shut 
down used to be a DNS server. I did remove it from DNS before shutdown, and did 
make sure the Exchange server had valid DNS. Odd message for a DNS error though.

Yes, they have that. I was unclear in my original email. The error only
occurs when an inside user is sending to an outside user.
