You may not need to complicate matters with Classic or Virtual PC...
Entourage 2004 is a fairly ugly product in terms of Exchange
connectivity but it can be got to work with a bit of effort.  To set it
up you have to let its port settings for LDAP override the default port
for LDAP.  Put your DC address as the LDAP server and you will have
access to the Exchange GAL.  The Entourage Blog
(http://blogs.msdn.com/entourage/) has plenty of information about how
the SP2 update is going to be much better.

Those who are saying to get a PC tend to be consultants who know there's
money in Windows for them but no money in a superior operating system.
