Mr. Scharff, Thank you for your response.
I won't pretend to have thoroughly researched the RFC's mentioned (other than seeing that 821 is for SMTP and 822 is for the formatting of the body text in an e.mail). Would you please elaborate on what was meant by "the To: did not in fact match"? And yes, you were correct that iferr@ was the only recipient to have received the e.mail. Is this a problem relating to RFC compliance of the sender's thunderbird client? Thanks again, joon On 12/5/05, Chris Scharff <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > You've posted an RFC822 message body, that is not proof that the RFC821 > envelope matched and guessing that [EMAIL PROTECTED] is the only one > who received the message would seem to indicate what is in the RFC822 > portion of the message hints that the To: line did not in fact match. > > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of > titanic panic > Posted At: Monday, December 05, 2005 5:03 PM > Posted To: swynk > Conversation: e.mails don't reach all recipients > Subject: e.mails don't reach all recipients > > For: > > Exch 5.5 SP4 > Win NT4 SP6a > > Recently an e.mail was sent to 3 of my internal users.
