Personally I would not set any account to not have a quota.  I like
having that little assurance that there is a upper limit and some
maverick message/looping or otherwise won't fill an account up.

Anyway, I ran into this a few months ago.  You can use the ldifde -i -k
-f  command and pipe in the change and set the Quotas for a given user.
At least this is what I recall doing.

DN: CN=xxxxxxx,OU=People,DC=ad,DC=uc,DC=edu
changetype: modify
replace: mDBUseDefaults
mDBUseDefaults: FALSE
-
replace: mDBStorageQuota
mDBStorageQuota: 400000

I think I found the problem... it's the MTA. It's not running and when I
try to start it, it starts then immediately stops. I'm going to reboot
the server to see if that fixes it. If not, any suggestions?

Nope, no changes to DL lately. I verified that all the mailboxes exist
and no one has complained about any problems accessing their email,
other than not being able to receive email on the DL.

Also, on the question about expansion servers, it's set to "any server
in site." Should I specify a server (we only have two)?

Any changes to the DL membership recently?  Perhaps there's a bad
mailbox in the membership.

MTA is what expands a DL membership, and then it caches this.  Try
stopping and restarting the MTA on the relevant server, this will force
a recache of the DL membership.

I'm trying to figure out why Exchange 5.5 suddenly decided to stop
delivering email to a particular distribution list. Here's the error
message I got back trying to send a message:
